A Social Media overnight sensation, “Sweetie the Alligator” became World Famous after an onlooker was driving by “The Florida Key Lime Pie Company” and took a short video of the docile Alligator being carried over the shoulder and brought into the store by her caretaker J R Greene and uploaded to TikTok. Following her initial internet appearance she became famous across the spectrum of Social Media and Newspapers around the world.

Sweetie has been featured on Access Hollywood, iHeartRadio – The Jim Colbert Show “Animal House” and also the TV series Ridiculousness. Sweetie has also been seen on BOTE Paddle Boards and the State of Florida Lottery Superbowl commercials.

Sweetie is an American Alligator native to the Sunshine State. She is a rescue as she is blind and due to her disability was brought to Jungle Adventures of Christmas, Florida by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission for rehabilitation. Sweetie resides at Jungle Adventures and is taken around to nearby schools for educational purposes to bring awareness to Florida’s Official Reptile.

“Sweetie” was sworn in on August 22nd, 2020 by Brevard County Sheriff Sheriff Wayne Ivey as a Deputy Sheriff at The Florida Key Lime Pie Company in Cocoa Beach Florida.
Currently she is serving as a “Reptile Resource Deputy” after being sworn in as follows:
