“Sweetie” was sworn in on August 22nd, 2020 by Brevard County Sheriff Sheriff Wayne Ivey as a Deputy Sheriff at The Florida Key Lime Pie Company in Cocoa Beach Florida.
Currently she is serving as a “Reptile Resource Deputy” after being sworn in as follows:

That I am duly qualified to stand watch over The Florida Key Lime Pie Company and that I will well and faithfully take a bite out of crime “and key lime pie” in Brevard County.
I wholeheartedly accept my responsibility and will perform my duties to the best of my ability!!

A Social Media overnight sensation, “Sweetie the Alligator” became World Famous after an onlooker was driving by “The Florida Key Lime Pie Company” and took a short video of the docile Alligator being carried over the shoulder and brought into the store by her caretaker J R Greene and uploaded to TikTok.
Following her initial internet appearance she became famous across the spectrum of Social Media and Newspapers around the world.
