From the Space Coast to St. Augustine: Festival Day Before Nights of Lights
Looking for a November day trip from Cocoa Beach, Melbourne, Titusville or elsewhere on Florida’s Space Coast? Put St. Augustine on your calendar for Saturday, November 14, 2026. The Original Florida Key Lime Pie Festival brings pie, live music, food trucks, vendors and signature contests to Francis Field from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Then save a second date for the holiday season: St. Augustine’s Nights of Lights begins Saturday, November 21—one week after the festival. Here’s how to plan your festival visit and connect it with a separate evening under the lights.
View November 14 festival details and buy tickets.
Choose your November dates first
- Saturday, November 14: Florida Key Lime Pie Festival, 10 a.m.–6 p.m., Francis Field, 25 W. Castillo Drive, St. Augustine.
- Saturday, November 21: Nights of Lights begins, according to the City of St. Augustine.
The holiday lights season has not started on festival day. If you want to enjoy both experiences, plan two visits or a longer stay that includes both dates. A November 14 festival ticket is admission to the festival; it is not a ticket for a holiday tour or another attraction.
A Space Coast connection worth the trip
The festival comes from The Florida Key Lime Pie Company in Cocoa Beach. Its roots on the Space Coast make this St. Augustine outing a chance to follow a familiar Florida flavor to a different setting: a festival day in America’s Oldest City.
Whether you’re gathering friends in Brevard County or planning a family Saturday, make the festival your anchor. Check your route and current traffic before setting out, agree on a return plan with your group, and leave room in your day for arrival, food and the activities you most want to see.
Build your November 14 around pie, music and downtown exploring
Start with the festival page for current entertainment and visitor information. Big Engine, Drifting Roots, Hypersona and Lucy Spotts are part of the announced lineup. Signature activities include the Key Lime Pie Eating Contest, Hula Hoop Contest and Pie Toss Contest.
Choose your must-see activities before you arrive. Allow time to browse vendors and find food, and check the latest event information for performance times and contest participation details rather than assuming every activity runs all day.
For downtown time before or after the festival, the city’s Historic Downtown Parking Facility is within walking distance of Francis Field and St. George Street. Check the opening hours, admission requirements and walking route for any additional stops you choose. Our family festival guide can help you plan a visit with children.
Budget for admission, parking and your day out
Festival admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 5–12, and free for ages 4 and under. Applicable transaction and payment processing fees are added at online checkout. Advance tickets and gate admission are available; the festival is rain or shine and ticket sales are final.
Set aside a separate budget for parking, food, shopping and other attractions. The city notes that parking rates and peak hours may change during holidays and special events. Review the official parking information before traveling; festival admission does not include city parking.
Return for Nights of Lights beginning November 21
For your holiday visit, plan an evening to explore the illuminated historic streets. The city describes Nights of Lights as a walking event, so choose a route that suits your group and allow time for dinner or any separately booked tour.
Check the City of St. Augustine’s official Nights of Lights information for current opening-night and transportation updates. Its page confirms the November 21, 2026 start date, while detailed opening-night and shuttle information is still being updated from the previous season.
